NIT Meghalaya Department of Mechanical Engineering (DME) Junior/Senior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to M.Tech./M.E. or B.Tech. degree holders. The selected fellowship is required to work on a project entitled - "Low Cost, Faster and Accurate Low-Velocity Impact Damage Imaging along with Depth Profiling for Carbon Fibre Reinforced Composite Materials using Vibro-thermography and Concept of Local Defect Resonance". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary as per SERB norms.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
Essential Qualifications for Junior Research Fellowship -
- Not exceed 28 years as of 7th August 2021
- Hold an M.Tech./M.E. (or, BTech with valid GATE score) in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Design/Manufacturing/Applied Mechanics with a minimum of 60% marks, OR
- Have equivalent in Master’s degree (or, 75% marks or an equivalent in Bachelor’s degree with valid GATE score)
Essential Qualifications for Senior Research Fellowship -
- Have possessing essential qualifications mentioned for the JRF position (above) and at least 2 years of research/teaching experience post Masters’ degree as evidenced from published papers in journals
- Not exceed 32 years as of 7th August 2021
