The Department of Industries & Commerce, Directorate of Information Technology, Government of Tripura invites applications for Mukyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana - Tripura 2020 from final year undergraduate students in any Government College/Institute/University in Tripura. This scheme provides a grant for the purchase of smartphones to the students of the final year to empower them digitally and help them leverage the advantages of an interconnected world.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must -
- Be presently pursuing final year course in an undergraduate degree at any Government College/Institute/University in Tripura.
Benefits The selected students will receive a grant of INR 5,000 or the cost of the phone (whichever is lower).

How can you apply? Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarship:
Step 1: Visit the homepage of the National Scholarship Portal and click on 'New Registration'.
Step 2: Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking and 'Continue'.
Step 3: Select the state of domicile, scholarship category, scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, write the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID.
Step 4: Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
Step 5: Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
Step 6: The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
Step 7: Now, log in using OTP and fill the form.
Step 8: An application ID and password will be generated. Use that for future references.Note: All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill only one application as multiple applications will lead to the cancellation of the form.

- The benefit can be availed once in a lifetime.
- Phone must be purchased after the announcement of the scheme in the name of the applicant/parent.
- The grant amount shall be credited directly to the registered bank account of the eligible candidates in DBT mode from a central account.
