One Young World invites applications for Leading Asia Scholarship 2019 from young leaders from Asia who are above 18 years of age. The applicants must have an evidenced commitment to delivering positive change, capacity for leadership, and experience in addressing key local and/or global issues in their work. Leading Asia is an initiative designed to ensure that outstanding young people from Asia are represented at the One Young World summit. One Young World 2019 Summit is going to be held in London from 22 - 25 October. The selected applicant shall receive access to the summit and other benefits.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, the applicant must
- Be over 18 years of age
- Have an evidenced commitment to delivering positive change
- Demonstrate a capacity for leadership
- Have addressed key local and/or global issues in his/her work
- Have a track record of generating impactful and innovative ideas
- Be a passport-holding citizen of India (or any other Asian country)
Benefits The selected candidate will receive the following benefits:
- Access to the One Young World Summit 2019 in London, UK
- Hotel accommodation on a shared basis between 22 October and 25 October 2018
- Catering which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Transport between the Summit accommodation and the Summit venue
- Summit hand-outs and support materials
- The cost of travel to and from London
How can you apply? Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarship:

Step 2: Provide information on personal details, country, organization etc.
Step 3: Submit the online application.
Important Dates
Application deadline: Monday 15 April 2019, 5 PM BST.
Selection Criteria
The strongest applicants will be shortlisted by the end of May. They will be contacted individually by a member of the One Young World team if they have been shortlisted.
Terms and Conditions
- The organisation cannot guarantee any applicant that they will be shortlisted or that the organisation will secure sponsorship for any shortlisted applicant.
- Priority will be given to applicants from countries that have been less represented at previous One Young World summits.
- Priority will also be given to first-time Summit attendees (not OYW Ambassadors).
- Due to the overwhelming amount of applications, One Young World is unable to respond to individual emails enquiring about the outcome of the Leading Asia selection process.
- The selected applicants will need to pay the UK Visa fee by themselves.
- No feedback will be given by the organisation in case of non-selection.
