Kalpana Chawla Chatravriti Yojana, Himachal Pradesh 2023 is an initiative of the Government of Himachal Pradesh for meritorious female students who have completed Class 12 in any stream. The main objective of this scholarship is to inspire meritorious girls to pursue higher education. The selected candidates will receive ₹18,000 per annum.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- be a female student
- be domiciled in Himachal Pradesh
- have completed Class 12 in any stream (Science, Arts, and Commerce) from Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education
- have taken admission as a regular student in an academic/professional/technical course at a Government-aided or recognised private institution
Benefits The selected girl scholars will receive ₹ 18,000 per annum.

How can you apply? Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the following steps -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' link below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to 'Applicant Corner'and click on 'New Registration' tab.
Step 4: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox and click on the 'Continue' button.
Step 5: Enter mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit.
Step 6: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the registration process.
Step 7: Now click on the 'Fresh Application' tab and log in using the application ID and password.
Step 8: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.Note - All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill in only one application as multiple applications will cancel the form.

Selection Criteria
The selection of the scholars will be based on the merit list provided by the HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala.

Terms and Conditions
- The girl students have to clear the exam every year for the continuation of the scholarship.
- The girl students of government/government-aided/private schools will receive this scholarship strictly on the merit basis declared by the HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala.
- In case of any dispute, the decision made by the Director of Education will be final.
