The Department of Welfare, Government of Jharkhand invites applications for the Jharkhand State Post Matric Scholarship 2017. This scholarship is for those students who have completed their class 10 and belongs to the SC/ST/OBC category. It is a means based scholarship.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Must be Class 10 passed studying in class 11, 12, graduation or post graduation
- Must belong to SC/ST/OBC category
- Be a citizen of Jharkhand
- For SC/ST category, the family annual income should not exceed INR 2,50,000 and for OBC category, the family annual income must not exceed INR 1,00,000
How can you apply? The application can be done online only with the following steps:
Step 1: Click here to read the details before applying.
Step 2: Now click on Register/Sign up.
Step 3: The students can register themselves by providing some personal details.
Step 4: Click on "Create Account".
Step 5: A message will be sent to registered number informing about the login and password credentials and complete the form.
Step 6: Completely fill the form.
Step 7: The Aadhar number/UID is mandatory.
Step 8: Upload the necessary document.

- Student Photograph
- Bonafide Certificate (with Fee structure )
- The validity of Income Certificate should be from 1 April 2017
- Residence Certificate
- Caste Certificate
- Previous Year Mark Sheet
- Bank Pass Book Scan
- Scanned Copy of Application Form (Signature of Student and Parent/Guardian)
