Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Ropar invites applications for IIT Ropar SERB Department of Electrical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from Master's degree holders. The fellows are required to work on the SERB sponsored project titled, “Design and Development of Single Chip Gas Sensor Arrays Based on Two-Dimensional MoS2 and Metal Oxide Hybrid Nanomaterials for Air Pollutants Monitoring at Near Room Temperature”. The selected fellows will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Eng./ VLSI/ Electronics Eng./ Electronics and Instrument Eng/equivalent branches
- Be GATE/CSIR/UGC/NET qualified
Candidates having an experience in semiconductor devices/ fabrication technology will be an added advantage.
Benefits The selected fellows will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month.

All the fellows will be selected on the basis of the performance in the interview and relevant experience.

Terms and Conditions
- No TA/DA will be provided.
- The position is for two years in total.
- Deserving candidates will be considered for PhD admissions at a later stage if they meet all the institute requirements.
