IIT Hyderabad SERB Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to M.Tech./M.E/B.Tech. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - "Post-Processing of Direct Energy Deposition Components: Need Identification and Process Selection”. The fellow will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA for the first two years and INR 35,000 per month plus HRA for the third year.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be 35 years of age
- Hold an M.Tech./M.E. or equivalent degree in Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science/Mechanical Engineering (with Manufacturing specialization)or related areas, OR
- Hold a B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science or related area, with a valid GATE score
Desirable Qualifications:
- The candidate must have experience in some of the following areas: Microstructural Study, Metallography Practices, Heat Treatments, Mechanical Testing, working with Metals and Alloys, Powder Metallurgy, Metal Additive Manufacturing.
- The candidate must also have experience in handling various material characterization, processing, and testing equipment, etc.
Benefits The selected fellow will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA for the first two years and INR 35,000 per month plus HRA for the third year.
