Indian Institute of Technology, Dharwad invites applications for the IIT Dharwad SERB-SRG Department of Mechanical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from B.Tech or M.Tech degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project code and title, "ME/KMC/SERBSRG/2020 Experimental Study of the Performance of a Flow-controlled Centrifugal Compressor Subjected to Distorted Inflow". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated emolument for INR 31,000 per month plus 16% HRA.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Not exceed 28 years as of the date of the selection process
- Hold a B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering (Fluid and thermal sciences or relevant to aerodynamics)
- Qualify National Eligibility Test – CSIRUGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE
Desirable Qualification:
- Strong orientation towards fluid mechanics or aerodynamics, preferably with experience in high-speed flows
- Strong orientation towards performing experiments and analyzing the data
Benefits The selected candidate will receive a consolidated emolument for INR 31,000 per month plus 16% HRA.

- Mark sheets (matriculation onwards)
- Experience certificate(s),
- Monthly emoluments/salary drawn
- Other relevant documents (including one set of self attested certificate(s)/document(s))
- Updated CV

Selection Criteria
- Applications will be screened initially, based on the screening.
- Only the shortlisted applicants will be called for an online test followed by an interview via online/telephone mode.
- Mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility will not bestow the right for shortlisting.
- IIT Dharwad reserves the right to screen and shortlist candidates by introducing higher benchmarks.
