Indian Institute of Technology, Dharwad invites applications for IIT Dharwad Department of Mathematics Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from M. Sc. degree holders. The selected candidate will receive a consolidated emolument for INR 31,000 per month plus 16% HRA.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Not exceed 28 years of age as on the date of the selection process.
- Have an M. Sc. Degree in Mathematics with first class.
- Be NET-JRF or GATE qualified
Desirable Qualification -
- Strong orientation towards numerical analysis and computational mathematics.
- The candidate should have good programming skills.
- A basic understanding of fluid mechanics might help but is not essential.
Benefits The selected candidate will receive a consolidated emolument for INR 31,000 per month plus 16% HRA.

Selection Criteria
Applications will be screened initially. Based on the screening, only the
shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview via online/telephone
mode. The selection will be based on the applicant's performance in the online selection process. The time slots for the online selection process will be communicated through email.

- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Selection Process as it is an online process
- No interim correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from the candidates.
- Canvassing in any form or bringing in any influence political or otherwise, will be a disqualification for the post.
- In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the institute shall be final.
- Mere fulfilment of minimum eligibility will not bestow the right for shortlisting; IIT Dharwad reserves the right to screen and shortlist candidates by introducing a higher benchmark.
