ICAR- IARI Genetics Division (GD) Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) 2021 is a research opportunity offered to master’s degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - "Molecular Approaches for Mapping of a Novel Gene(s)/ QTL(s) for Resistance/Tolerance to Different Stresses in Rice, Wheat, Chickpea and Indian Mustard including Sheath Blight Complex Genomics and Resistance Mechanisms". The selected fellow will receive up to INR 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA (as per ICAR).

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must-
- Be maximum 35 years of age
- Hold a Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree OR
- Hold a 3 years bachelor’s degree with UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics
Desirable Qualifications -
- Have experience in Biometrics/Bioinformatics
Benefits The selected fellow will receive up to INR 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA (as per ICAR).

- NET/equivalent certificate
- Degree certificate either original or provisional
- Attested copy of recent passport size photograph
