Government Research Adhichatra, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Maharashtra to provide financial assistance to students who have completed their postgraduate studies and aspire to pursue a Ph.D. degree. The selected students will be granted a scholarship of ₹750 per month and an additional ₹1,000 per annum to cover other expenses.

Deadline30-Apr-2024 Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- have secured 60% marks in postgraduation [B.A/B.Sc/B.Ed and MA/MSC/M.Ed] and below 60% marks for any other degree
- be studying in one of the following institutions of Maharashtra:
- Govt. Science Institute (Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad),
- Govt. Vidarbha Gyan Vidnyan Science Institute (Amravati)
- Vasant Rao Naik Mahavidyalaya College (Nagpur),
- Universities and affiliated colleges
Benefits The selected students will be granted a scholarship of ₹750 per month and ₹1,000 per annum to cover other expenses.
Documents - Domicile certificate
- Name of the guide of the students
- Sanction letter of the University for the guide
- Graduation and Postgraduation marksheet
Note:- In case of renewal, the students are required to submit an annual progress report.
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number.
Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric.
Step 6: After completing the authentication process, fill in all the required details to 'Register'.
Step 7: Now, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 8: Log in using the username and password.
Step 9: Fill in the necessary details, upload the specified documents and submit.

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on their merit and fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.
