Goonj Setu Fellowship 2024-25 is an opportunity offered by Goonj (a non-profit organisation) to graduates aged between 21 to 30 years old by 31st July 2024. This programme provides an opportunity for individuals to understand themselves but also the larger social ecosystem, the dynamics, innovations, and how small things can bring about significant changes. The selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly stipend ranging between ₹20,000 - ₹22,000 depending on the city along with other benefits.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible, an applicant must -

    • be between the age group of 21 and 30 years as of 31st July 2024
    • have graduated from a recognised institution by 31st July 2024
    • have a basic understanding of English/Hindi
    • possess basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and other relevant tools

     

    Note: - Applicants with backgrounds in social work, liberal arts, entrepreneurship studies, or those who have completed prestigious fellowships like the Gandhi Fellowship, Teach for India Fellowship, YIFs, and Jagriti Yatra are eligible to apply. However, such experience will not be given any additional weight in the selection process.

     

    Note - In the last phase of the fellowship, candidates would work on their own idea or a project and work towards it in their own location.

    Benefits

    The selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly stipend ranging between ₹20,000 - ₹22,000 depending on the city.

    Travel allowances for both city and field work will be reimbursed based on documented expenses.

    Additionally, fellows will accrue 20 paid leave days per year, in addition to all regular national holidays.

    Eligible candidates can apply for the fellowship by following the steps below:-

    Step 3: Navigate to the 'Apply Now' button and click on it.
    Step 4: Select the preferred language.
    Step 5: Fill in the required details and submit the application.

The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

  • A Goonj Fellow cannot pursue any online or offline courses during the fellowship program.
  • Fellows may be placed in any urban or rural setting for varying durations throughout the fellowship.
  • The issues and ideas the fellows will work on will directly align with Goonj's ongoing initiatives.
