Education Concession to Children of Freedom Fighters, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Maharashtra for the ward/wife/widow of the freedom fighters pursuing graduation and postgraduation courses. The selected students will receive a monthly scholarship of up to ₹60 and an annual book allowance of up to ₹400.

Deadline30-Apr-2024 Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- be a domicile of Maharashtra
- be a ward/wife/widow of the freedom fighter
- be pursuing graduation and postgraduation courses from one of the recognised institutions of Maharashtra
Note:- The students studying outside Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.
Benefits The selected candidates will receive benefits as follows:
Courses Scholarship (monthly) Book allowance (annually) Undergraduation and Postgraduation ₹50 ₹60 Engineering ₹200 ₹400 Documents - Freedom fighter certificate

How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Click on the 'New Applicant Registration' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, and verify the email and phone number.
Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometrics.
Step 6: After completing the authentication process, fill in all the required details to the 'Register' button.
Step 7: Now, click the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 8: Log in using the username and password.
Step 9: Fill in the necessary details, upload the specified documents, and submit.

Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.
