DTE Dr Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an initiative of the Department of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra to provide financial aid to students who are wards of registered labour/marginal farmers and have taken admission in technical and professional courses in government, government-funded and non-affiliated colleges/polytechnics. The selected students will receive financial help of up to ₹30,000 for 10 months.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible, an applicant must:

    • be a domicile of Maharashtra
    • be a child of registered labour/child of Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder)
    • be admitted for professional and technical courses (diploma/graduation/postgraduation degree) as mentioned in GR
    • hold a bonafide certificate from the respective institution 
    • have secured a minimum 50% attendance in the previous semester (except for those freshly admitted to college)
    • have an annual family income of less than ₹8,00,000
    Benefits

    Selected students will receive the following benefits:

    • Child of registered labor/alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder):
      • For students studying in an institute located in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City: ₹30,000 for 10 months
      • For students studying in an institute located in other areas: ₹20,000 for 10 months

     

    • For students having an annual family income of up to ₹8,00,000: 
      • For students studying in an institute located in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City: ₹10,000 for 10 months
      • For students studying in an institute located in other areas: ₹8,000 for 10 months

     

    Documents
    • Domicile certificate
    • Register labor certificate/alpabhudharak (Marginal land holder) certificate (if applicable)
    • Income certificate (if applicable)
    • CAP related document
    • Hosteller documents
    • Attendance certificate
    • Gap-related documents (if there are gaps in the academic history)
    • Previous year marksheet
    • An undertaking stating that in the current year, only two members of a family aren't availing the benefit of a scholarship
    How can you apply?

    Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
    Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
    Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
    Step 3: Click on the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard.
    Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number.
    Step 5: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric. 
    Step 6: After completing the authentication process, fill in all the required details to 'Register'.
    Step 7: Now, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
    Step 8: Log in using the username and password. 
    Step 9: Fill in the necessary details, upload the specified documents and submit.

Selection Criteria

The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

Terms and Conditions
  • Candidates should not have a gap of 2 or more years during the course duration.
  • Students enrolled in Deemed Universities and Private Universities are not eligible for the scholarship. 
  • A maximum of 2 children from the same family can benefit from the scheme for the current academic year.
  • Applicants who are availing any other scholarship/stipend cannot apply for this scholarship.
