Dr. BR Ambedkar Scholarship for Topper Award, Delhi 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by the Department for the Welfare of SC/ST, Government of NCT of Delhi, for topper students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category studying in the technical/professional course. The selected meritorious students will be awarded ₹25,000 for each discipline after completion of the degree course in the university.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Other Backward Class (OBC) community
- have passed Class 10 and 12 from a recognised institution located in Delhi
- be studying in a professional/technical degree course in a state/central university of Delhi
- have achieved top marks in the final year exams of the respective studies
Benefits The selected meritorious students among SC/ST/OBC categories in each discipline of the professional/technical degree course will receive an award of ₹25,000.
Documents - Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued by the competent authority of Delhi
- Certificate/diploma/degree/marksheet for all previous qualifying examinations
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to register (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to 'Apply Services' and click the 'Register' button.
Step 4: Select the Aadhaar card for the document type and enter the Aadhaar number and captcha code.
Step 5: Tick the checkbox and click on the 'Continue' button.
Step 6: Now, log in using the credentials (user ID, password, and captch code).
Step 7: Enter the relevant details and select the scholarship scheme.
Step 8: Upload the required documents and click on the 'Submit' button.

Selection Criteria
The selection of the students will be based on merit and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.

- The topper student is awarded only once after passing out of the final examination of the course.
- There is no specified annual family income limit.
