Banaras Hindu University Varanasi invites applications for Banaras Hindu University Varanasi School of Biotechnology Research Associateship and Senior Research Fellowship 2020 from MSc/PhD degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project entitled, "Genetic Modification to Improve Biological Nitrogen Fixation for augmenting nitrogen needs of Cereals (Under Incentivizing Agricultural Research scheme)". The selected candidates will receive a fellowship of INR 54,000 per month plus HRA (for Research Associates) and INR 31,000 per month plus HRA (for Senior Research Fellowship).

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must :
Research Associateship Qualifications-
- Not be more than 40 years of age
- Hold PhD in Biotechnology/Plant Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Microbiology
- Have research experience in the use of molecular biology
Senior Research Fellowship Qualifications-
- Not be more than 35 years of age
- Hold first-class MSc degree in Biotechnology/Plant Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Microbiology with two years of research experience
- Have at least one research paper in SCI journal
- Have research experience in the use of molecular biology
Benefits The selected candidates will receive a fellowship for Research Associate of INR 54,000 per month plus HRA and fellowship for Senior Research Fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA.
