The University of Auckland, New Zealand invites applications for Auckland Law School Postgraduate (Law) Awards 2020 from graduate students. The award aims to support and encourage academically outstanding students to undertake a Master of Laws, Master of Legal Studies and Master of Taxation Studies at the Auckland Law School. The selected scholars will receive NZD 10,000.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be willing to undertake a Master of Laws, Master of Legal Studies and Master of Taxation Studies at the Auckland Law School
- Meet all requirements for admission into one of the University of Auckland’s law postgraduate degree programmes
- Enrol and begin his/her studies by 16 July 2020
Benefits An award of NZD 10,000 will be offered to five eligible international and/or domestic applicants.
Documents - Copies of official university transcripts including the grades of all courses completed. (Successful applicants will be required to provide paper copies of their transcripts before awards are confirmed.)
- A current CV, including the names and contact details of two academic referees
- A cover letter

Step 2: Prepare all the required documents.
Step 3: Send the application addressing to Executive Assistant to the Dean through email to lawdean@auckland.ac.nz
Step 4: Also send the application in writing to -Faculty of Law

Application deadline: 30th January 2020 and 30th June 2020
Selection Criteria
- The awards will be made by the Dean of Law (or their nominee), upon the recommendation of a selection committee.
- The awards will be made on the basis of academic merit.
Terms and Conditions
- The Award may not he held concurrently with another University of Auckland Masters/ Honours / PGDip Scholarship or any other award or grant unless the regulations for that award or grant permit this and the Dean of the Faculty of Law (or nominee) agrees.
- The awards are intended to cover a substantial amount of the recipients’ costs.
- The tenure of scholarship is one year.
