ARIES Post-Doctoral Researcher Fellowship 2022 is an initiative of Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), Uttarakhand for Ph.D. degree holders. The duration of the fellowship is a maximum of one year. The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 42,000 per month plus the medical facility will be provided as per the institute’s policy for its employees.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, the applicant must:
- Be below the age of 35 years
- Have submitted a Ph.D. thesis and awaiting the award of the degree in disciplines of Astronomy & Astrophysics or Atmospheric Science from a recognised University/Institute
Benefits The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 42,000 per month. The medical facility will be provided as per the institute’s policy for its employees. Hostel accommodation is provided if available. If the candidate is staying outside the ARIES campus, HRA is provided as per Central Government norms applicable for Nainital.
Documents - Curriculum Vitae (CV) with publication list
- A brief summary of Ph. D. work (not exceeding 1 page)
- A research proposal (not exceeding 2 pages) using ARIES facilities
- Names of at least three researchers (one must be the applicant's thesis supervisor) who can provide a recommendation letter for the candidate. It is expected that the research proposal to be relevant to the research at ARIES.
