Aberystwyth University invites applications for AberDoc Scholarship 2021 from postgraduate students. This scholarship aims to support the commencing PhD students taking admission to the University in any discipline. Selected students will receive GBP 4,327 per annum as per UK/EU rate, a maintenance allowance of approximately GBP 15,009 per annum and access to a travel and conference fund with a maximum of GBP 500 per annum.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Have or expect to obtain at least upper second class honours in graduation level
- Have got an offer to study doctoral at Aberystwyth University
- Be a non-UK student having achieved IELTS 7.0, or equivalent (before the end of March 2021 at the latest)
- Be commencing doctoral study in September 2021 or be a current AU PhD student
Benefits - GBP 4,327 per annum as per UK/EU rate towards tuition fee
- A maintenance allowance of approximately GBP 15,009 per annum
- Access to a travel and conference fund with a maximum of GBP 500 per annum

Step 5: Login again and completely fill the PhD application form.Note: Already studying students who wish to apply for an AberDoc Scholarship commencing in September 2020 have to submit the AberDoc Expression of Interest Form (available from pg-admissions@aber.ac.uk) by 29 January 2021

Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on the quality of research proposal and reports of referees.
Terms and Conditions
- The scholarship is given for a period of up to three years, depending upon the satisfactory academic progress of the candidates.
- Successful candidates for AberDoc Awards who are subsequently offered UK Research Council or other similar awards must surrender the AberDoc award.
- Recipients of the scholarship are permitted to undertake teaching or demonstrating duties.
