Scholarship applications start with scholarship hunting. Students need to be aware of the latest developments of scholarship programs and plan the scholarship application calendar for better chances to get the scholarships. Scholarship Applications can be of two types, namely online and offline. For offline scholarship applications, students need to collect the application form and submit it to the respective authority (as laid in the scholarship application guidelines) on or before a specific application close date. The scholarship forms are sometimes available for download on the scholarship program website. Sometimes scholarship forms are published in newspapers or magazines. There are scholarship programs which send application forms to the school/college of university authorities of the applicants; so that students can get them easily. In other cases, students have to visit the regulatory or governing office of the scholarship provider and collect the form.
For online application, students are either required to fill open application forms, where they provide their personal, academic and professional (if required) details. Such forms do not require any kind of registration. Some online scholarship application forms require email or mobile number based registration. Students register and verify their contact details which leads them to the actual application form. Students also need to upload necessary documents for these online application forms.
