Study to Succeed is a scholarship program for employees of Trent Ltd. (A TATA Enterprise). The scholarship program aims to offer financial aid to 300+ employees to help them in pursuing studies at class 11, 12 or graduation level at recognised institutions. The scholarship program is designed to help the employees in becoming more qualified. These scholarships are being provided by Trent Ltd. (A TATA Enterprise), which is a renowned and trusted brand in the retail segment, primarily operating stores across four retail formats Westside, Zudio, Star and Landmark.

How to apply for ‘Study to Succeed’ Trent Graduate Scholarship Program?
Here are the steps to apply for the scholarship program:
- Click on ‘Apply Now’ button
- Login to Buddy4Study using registered login ID to view the ‘Application form’
- If not registered on Buddy4Study - Sign up at Buddy4Study with E-mail/Facebook/Gmail account
- Fill academic and personal details in the application form
- Upload the necessary documents
- Click on ‘Submit’ button to complete application process
What are the documents required for this scholarship application?
The following documents are required to be submitted along with the application form:
- Attested copy of age proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport, etc.)
- Mark sheet of Class 10 attested by the school
- Mark sheet of Class 12 attested by the school (as applicable)
- Graduation program or class 11/12 current enrolment receipt for the academic year 2019-20 (as applicable)
Will the candidates get the scholarship amount for every year of their 3-year graduation program?
The scholarship amount will be disbursed for the academic year 2019-20 only. In subsequent years, as the program continues, the scholar's academic fees will be reimbursed as per the respective year's eligibility criteria for the scholarship program.
If an applicant is enrolling for a correspondence graduation course, can he/she still apply for the scholarship program?
Yes. Applicants pursuing correspondence courses for graduation can apply for this scholarship. In fact, such applicants will be given preference during final selection of scholars.
Can all TATA Group employees apply for this scholarship program?
No. Only employees of Trent Ltd. are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.
How will the applicants be notified about the scholarship selection?
Selected candidates will be informed by written communication via email.
Will the scholarship continue for any selected scholars who do not pass their qualifying exam during the respective academic year?
In case, the employee fails to successfully complete the final qualifying exam there will be no reimbursement of the 2nd installment of the scholarship.
How will the selected scholars get their scholarship award?
The scholarship will be disbursed in two equal installments - 50% of the eligible amount at the time of enrollment and the balance 50% on successful completion of the academic examination enrolled for. The award will be directly credited to the salary account of the employee selected for the scholarship.
What happens if an employee resigns after receiving the 1st installment of the scholarship?
The separated employee will have to pay back the reimbursed amount of the 1st installment and will no longer be qualified for scholarship.
If a student is enrolled in NIOS/open school for class 11 & 12, can he/she apply for the scholarship program?
Yes, if it is a government recognized degree certificate.
