DBS Business for Good Internship program is an initiative of the DBS Foundation to provide paid internship opportunities to business school students to gain first-hand experience of working with high-value and impact driven social startups.The program is open to students pursuing second-year PGDM/MBA courses from reputed Indian business schools.
The duration of the internship program will be 8 to 12 weeks and the participating students will receive a stipend of INR 60,000.
The program will be completely virtual/online. Each intern will be assigned to social enterprise startups to work on live projects and get mentored by startup entrepreneurs and professionals. The program is designed to offer invaluable learning opportunities to students allowing them to understand the working of startup businesses with a social purpose.

Deadline31-Dec-2021 Eligibility - Applicants must be Indian nationals.
- Students in their 2nd year PGDM/MBA courses in Indian institutions are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must possess an innovation oriented mindset, creative thinking and interest in pursuing a career as an entrepreneur.
- Children and/relatives of employees of DBS Foundation and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.

Documents - Marksheet of MBA first year
- A government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar card/voter identity card/driving license/PAN card)
- Current year admission proof (fee receipt/ admission letter/ institution identity card/ bonafide certificate)
- Bank account details of the applicant
- One passport size photograph

What is the selection process for the DBS Business for Good Internship 2022?
The selection process of DBS Business for Good Internship 2022 is a multi-stage process where students are selected on the basis of their academic merit, interview and assessment of interest level in social entrepreneurship.
The steps involved in the selection process include -- Shortlisting of candidates based on their academic merit and profile
- Telephonic interview with the shortlisted candidates followed by document verification
- Final interview by a selection committee with startup founders for final selection
Note: Final student selection decision will be reserved by DBS Foundation.
Where will the interns be placed?
The selected interns will be placed in 10-15 start-ups supported by DBS.
What is the duration of the internship offered under this program?
The DBS Business for Good Internship Program 2022 is designed for 8 to 12 weeks. It will start in mid-January and will continue till mid-March.
What will be the mode of internship?
The internship will be conducted in virtual mode. The students are not required to relocate and/or attend offices physically.
What are the assignments that the selected students are supposed to undertake under this internship program?
Students will be assigned to take projects as per the startup requirement under the, but not limited to, the following functions:
- Proposal writing
- Digital marketing
- Primary/secondary research & survey
- Go to market strategy
- Financial modeling
