I am a second-year graduation student, aiming to become an IAS officer in the future. I belong to a humble background. My father, a farmer, suffered an immense financial loss during the COVID-19 lockdown, making the situation at home even more difficult. In such a situation, the Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme helped me pay my college fees. Despite the grim circumstances, I was also able to purchase IAS-related study material. I would like to thank Colgate-Palmolive for helping youngsters like me through their Keep India Smiling mission.

The mentoring and scholarship provided through Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme has been a boon during these trying times. The scholarship gave me the freedom to learn and experiment while pursuing my B.Tech degree. At the same time, the mentoring program has been very rewarding as each session covers different key aspects that help in ushering myself to success. This, in huge part, is due to my mentor - Mr. Krishnan VG, Co-Founder, ShikshaDaan. He simply excels at what he does. I'd like to thank Mr. Krishnan for his valuable time and for the insightful ideas he continues to share with me.

If I had not got selected for the Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme, I would have never had an opportunity to be personally mentored by someone like Mr. Chandresh Natu, Practice Head at Wipro HR Services. Colgate-Palmolive is quite literally enabling my education through its mentoring programme and securing my ability to serve everyone around me! I also greatly appreciate the generous scholarship support provided. This investment towards my education humbles me, and I am now more driven than ever to create a fully rewarding education experience for myself.
