To get better idea about the whole visa processing, it is better for international students to visit the Simplified Student Visa Framework (SSVF) – which deals with student visa. The maximum cost for a subclass visa will be somewhere around AUD 550.

Health and insurance

Before you pack your bag, you must look for the climatic conditions of Australia and specially the place, where you are willing to study. If you are going for a study abroad program, then it may be included in your visa package, but if you enroll directly with some university, you really need to cover yourself with a good insurance scheme. After all you will never like your money to be spent on health issues when you are away from home country.

English is the de facto national language of Australia. So if you are comfortable with the language, then you will feel at home with  other people there. Also, pack your luggage intelligently and avoid unnecessary and bulky items as Australian airports don’t allow much luggage to carry.
