Scholar Success Story
Strength doesnтАЩt come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldnтАЩt.
Anju G. Nair seems to have adapted the above-stated ideal. She believes that challenges are not those that limit anyone, instead, they tend to liberate an individual enabling him/her to soar higher. Turns out that AnjuтАЩs assiduous approach to accepting challenges and relentless efforts have paid off rather well.
Anju G. Nair, a Management student of IIM-Trichy, won Capital First Scholarship 2018-20 which further strengthened her belief of never giving up and staying consistent no matter how harsh the circumstances seem.
Read excerpts from Anju NairтАЩs interview with Buddy4Study and get encouraged by her determination and courage to achieve career goals.

Later, I joined Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam for pursuing my graduation in Electronics and Communication Engineering and secured a decent score of 74%.
Buddy4Study: What drove you towards the pursuit of an MBA course?
Anju: I was very active in both schools and college. I had numerous positions of responsibilities in college. I always loved to take up responsibilities, organise events and manage them. Also, I was drawn towards marketing and advertising. All these activities encouraged me to pursue an MBA degree.
Buddy4Study: What were the key challenges you faced while preparing for your MBA admissions?
Anju: The challenge was to stay motivated throughout the process and remain confident.
Buddy4Study: What has been your source of inspiration?
Anju: Opportunities that you want to grab are the biggest inspiration according to me.
Buddy4Study: Despite the financial constraints, you decided to pursue an MBA course. How did your parents react when you told them about your ambitions?
Anju: They are quite supportive of my ambitions. They assured me that they will support all my dreams, no matter what the financial condition of the family is.
Buddy4Study: How did you come to know about the Capital First Scholarship? What was the process you followed to avail the scholarship?
Anju: I came to know about the scholarship from Buddy4Study itself. I had registered on its portal years back and after admissions, I used to check for scholarships. I just followed the steps mentioned on the portal of Buddy4Study. It was a smooth process using which I applied for Capital First Scholarship.
Buddy4Study: You grabbed a seat in IIM┬аTiruchirappalli.┬аWhich other B-schools did you qualify for?
Anju: All the new IIMs, IIFT K and IIT Madras.
Buddy4Study: What goals have you set for yourself in the future?
Anju: I want to be an inspiring leader in the field of management. A leader who sets an example to the path towards excellence.
Buddy4Study: What advice would you give to the young ones who face various challenges towards pursuing higher education?
Anju: You should stick to your dreams. Challenges should fuel your flight, not hold you back. Be confident and never rest until you grab what you want.
