World Bank Young Professionals Program (WBG YPP) 2023 is an initiative of the World Bank Group (a global non-profit organisation) for master’s or doctoral degree holders having at least three years of relevant work experience. The main objective of this program is to provide an opportunity for young professionals, with leadership qualities and a passion for development, to gain exposure in the World Bank Group (WBG). The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary and other benefits.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- be born on or after 1st October 1991
- hold a master’s or doctoral degree
- be fluent in English
- demonstrate relevant professional experience or continued study at the doctoral level
Benefits This porgramme offers a competitive salary and benefits package as part of a 5-year term contract. These benefits include health, life and accident insurance, a pension plan and possible relocation and mobility benefits depending on WBG guidelines.

- 1 short essay
- Short summary of thesis or dissertation (For World Bank candidates, only if applicable)
- 3 professional or academic recommendations
- Diploma/degree completion, letter, proof of enrollment with expected graduation date or transcript
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the program by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Click the 'Apply Now' button and carefully read the details.
Step 2: Navigate to the 'Apply' button and 'Register'. (Note- If the applicant is already registered, kindly login using valid credentials.)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Apply' button on the right-hand side of the page and click it.
Step 4: Navigate to the 'Sign up now' option and fill in the necessary details to create a new account. (Note - The applicants can create an account using their Microsoft/Linkedin/Google account)
Step 5: After successfully signing up, fill in the required detail, upload the documents in the prescribed format and submit.

Application Start Date - 3rd July 2023
Application Last Date - 31st July 2023
Note: Applications must be completed by 11:59 PM UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) on the last day of the application period.
Selection Criteria
The selected candidates will be selected based on the following criteria -
- First stage: The received applications will be reviewed for shortlisting.
- Second stage: The shortlisted candidates will undergo a technical review, based on which they will be selected for the interview round.
- Final stage: In the interview round, selected applicants will be evaluated based on client orientation, professional expertise and team leadership.
