Vishwa Konkani Student Scholarship 2017 is offering merit cum means scholarship to graduation and post-graduation students having Konkani language as their mother tongue. The objective of this program is to provide financial assistance to students who want to pursue higher education in India or abroad. The selected students will receive scholarships up to INR 1 Lakh per annum.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Applicants must have Konkani as mother tongue, a certificate needs to be provided in this regard
- Applicants who are seeking admission to the 1st-year in the Engineering and MBBS course in 2017
- Must have secured 70% marks in SSLC and in the core subjects in PUC with a rank between 1 to 20,000 in the Common Entrance Test (CET)
- Family income should not exceed INR 4.5 Lac per annum
- The references from Family Doctor and a Chartered Accountant should be provided in this regard while applying
- Applicant should be willing to sponsor 2 students after completion of studies and after securing employment and should contribute 20 days in the year 2017-18 to the community service

Step 6: Attach all the required documents.
Step 7: Complete the declaration and submit the document
Terms and Conditions
Documents to be attached:
- Mother's tongue certificate
- II PUC Marks Card
- Proof of Rank in Entrance
- Passport size profile photo
Applicants will be selected on the basis of verifications by independent panelists and each will be awarded scholarships of INR 30,000 and INR 40,000 for the Engineering and MBBS applicants.
