About The Program

English is the International Language and the first global lingua franca. In the modern era, English happens to be the most popular and most spoken language. Children who know English not only excel in exams but are known to do to well in practically every aspect of their dealings.

Assessment of one’s language skills is the key to identifying and measuring educational achievement. People's lives around the world are shaped by the outcomes of such assessments which they receive as part of their education process.

Assessment is used all the time in every field for making decisions; however the holistic assessments we offer are extremely useful because they affect the futures of individuals and play a critical role in the process of laying the foundation of their careers.

Hence UIEO’s efforts to present our students with all encompassing assessment that will place them at the threshold of easier learning and mastering the language of the world in the easiest way in the shortest time possible.

Student of classes 2, 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 & 10 are eligible to participate in this examination.

How can you apply?

Please send a single consolidated Demand Draft for the exam fee of all the students appearing for the UIEO from your school.

D.D. should be drawn in favour of UNIFIED COUNCIL payable at HYDERABAD.

Frame the list of students in the given format (preferably typed and send it to our address along with the D.D by Courier Service/Register post / Speed Post.

Note: Venue of the UIEO will be respective schools only. There is no open center facility for above examination. So we do not accept individual applications forms for UIEO-2015. Students are requested to apply through respective schools only.

Terms and Conditions

Date of Examination : 06-11-2015 (Friday)

Time : 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon

Last Date of receiving applications: 30-10-2015

Exam Fee:

Rs. 120 (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty only)

Students desirous of referring of Model Question Paper should add Rs. 40 for a set of Model Question papers add Rs. 40.

Exam Pattern:

There will be a different question paper for each class. All the questions are of the objective-type with no negative marking for wrong answers.

Syllabus:

UIEO question papers are more class specific than syllabus specific. Please refer the syllabus provided.

Unified International English Olympiad question papers are suitable for students following CBSE / ICSE / ISC and various other State Board syllabi.

Awards:

A. The top 3 rankers in each class will be awarded a Tablet PC + Memento + Medal.

  

B. Next 7 rankers of each class (Ranks 4-10) will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1000 each.

  

C. Next 15 rankers of each class (Ranks 11-25) of classes II-X will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 500 each.

  

  

Top 100 rankers in each class will be awarded Britannica – The Marriam-Webster Dictionary & thesaurus and Britannica Word Search (2 CD Pack) worth Rs.1790.

   

Top 100 rankers from each class (II-IV) will be awarded with Hand Book of Science - Junior and from classes (V-X) will be awarded with Hand book of Mathematics, a Medal and a certificate of appreciation.

  

 

Prizes For Zone Toppers:

  

Top 3 rankers in each Zone will be awarded a Britannica – The Marriam-Webster Dictionary & thesaurus and Britannica Word Search (2 CD Pack)worth Rs. 1790 a Medal and certificate of appreciation. Zone wise ranks are declared after excluding the top 100 ranks across the country.

School / Class Topper:

  

We declare the School Topper per School sponsoring a minimum of 50 students. Class Topper per class is declared for a minimum of 5 students. Class 2nd and 3rd rankers are declared if no. of students are more than 10 and 15 respectively. School Topper and Class Rankers are awarded a medal and a certificate of appreciation.

 

Certificate and Student’s Performance Report (SPR) for all the participants.

 

Interpreting Results:

Ranking: When more than one student gets an equal top score, priority for awarding ranks will be according to the marks acquired in the specified order of sections in the question paper.

Institutional Awards:

Best Performance Award – School

One Best Performance School in each zone (17 zones) will be presented to the top performing schools. The principal and Teacher in-charge of the respective schools will be awarded with Best Contribution in Computer Education Award & a Cash Prize of Rs. 3000 each.

Best Participation School:

Certificate of Appreciation will be presented to all the schools which forward more than 100 applications.

Any School that sponsors a minimum of 100 students will be receiving Britannica – The Marriam-Webster Dictionary & thesaurus and Britannica Word Search (2 CD Pack) worth Rs. 1790

All the co-coordinating Teacher in-charges of the UIEO will be awarded a certificate of appreciation.
