Unified Cyber Olympiad(UCO), which will be held across the country with the following goals :
- Streamlining computer education
- Instilling competitiveness in computer education
- Including logic, reasoning and mental ability in the learning process
- Identifying talent and assessing students on a nationwide platform
- Exposing students to the latest technology and study in computers
UCO will be conducted at two levels. The first level exam will be conducted in the respective school premises. 500 students from every class will be selected for the second level exam, which will be conducted at the nearest selected State Head Quarters/Main Towns.
It motivates children to strengthen their knowledge in mental ability, logical reasoning & computer knowledge. Proficiency in these areas will help every child to face the problems related to software solutions, management crises, lack of judgement and decision making .

DeadlineClosed Eligibility Student of classes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 are eligible to participate in this examination.
How can you apply? Students can participate via schools. They need to send a single consolidated Demand Draft for the exam fee of all the students appearing for the UCO from your school.
D.D. should be drawn in favour of UNIFIED COUNCIL payable at HYDERABAD.
Frame the list of students in the format (preferably typed and send it to our address along with the D.D by Courier Service/Register post / Speed Post.
Note: Venue of the UCO will be respective schools only. There is no open center facility for above examination.
No direct/individual applications forms for UCO-2016. Students are requested to apply through respective schools only.
Terms and Conditions
Exam Schedule: (1st LeveL)
Date of Examination : 21-10-2016 (Friday)
Time : 11:00 a.m – 12:00 noon
Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 27-08-2016
Exam Fee:
- Rs. 120/- (Rupees Hundred and Twenty only)
- Students desirous of referring of Model Question Paper should add Rs. 40 for a set Model/Previous Question Papers.
Exam Structure:
This exam will be conducted in two levels.
- First level will be conducted in the school premises of the respective schools.
- Second level for the top 500 students from each class will be conducted in the nearest selected State Head Quarters/Main Towns.
Exam Pattern:
The medium of the test will be English.
There will be a different question paper for each class.
All the questions are of the objective-type with no negative marking for wrong answers.
- No. of Questions: 50
- Marks: 50
- Duration: 1 Hr
- The above pattern is applicable for 2 levels of exam.
Division of Marks:
- Mental Ability: 15 marks
- Reasoning: 15 marks
- Computers: 15 marks
- English: 5 marks
- Note: The above pattern is applicable for 2 levels of exam.
Syllabus:
UCO question papers are more class specific than syllabus specific. Please refer the syllabus provided. Unified Cyber Olympiad question papers are suitable for students following CBSE / ICSE / ISC and various other State Board syllabi.
Prizes:
Gold Medals & Cash Awards for the first 3 in each Class (Rank 1-3)
- UCO-Topper will be awarded with Rs. 2, 00,000 cash prize*. The student who achieves the highest percentage of marks in among all the classes is declared as UCO Topper.
- The top 3 Rankers in each will be awarded with Tablet PC + a Memento + a Medal.
- Next 7 rankers of each class (Ranks 4-10) will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1000 each.
- The next 15 rankers of each class (Ranks 11-25) of classes II-X will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 500 each.
Top 100 rankers from each class are awarded with a Britannica Encyclopedia of India and The Weather - 2 CD PACK worth Rs. 1090.
Top 100 rankers from each class are awarded with Reasoning Trainer Plus Book, from M/s Brain Mapping Academy a Medal and a certificate of appreciation.
All National, Zone Rankers of Classes 1-9 will be offered a Voucher worth Rs. 400 from www.mapmySTEP.com – India’s FIRST scientifically designed portal for Olympiad& Talent exams preparation.
All the top rankers from 1-100 will be awarded with a Medal and a certificate of appreciation.
Certificate and Cyber Diagnostic Report (CDR) for all the participants.
