Transilvania Fellowship Program 2017-18 invites application who hold a PhD in science, completed within the last 5 years at the time of application and is aimed mainly at researchers from abroad who do not hold a permanent position in a research organization or in higher education with the objective is to stimulate excellence in research, to intensify international collaboration, and to develop good practices in interdisciplinary research. This program will select 20 fellows and selected fellows will get Rs 38000 per month, accommodation on the University campus and reimbursement for transportation expenses (one round-trip), and provided with office space in the Research and Development Institute of the University and with access to the institute facilities and resources. The duration of the fellowship is up to 12 months.

How can you apply? The application can be done by email with the following steps:
Step 1: Download the application form.
Step 2: Fill the application form.
Step 3: Attach the agreement form of the Head of the Department where they will conduct their activity and the agreement form of the coordinator of the research center for applications which involve
the use of the institute facilities and resources.
Step 4: Also attach a copy of the Ph.D. degree and 2 letters of recommendation from professors/scholars, prominent in their field.
Step 5: Email it.

Details:
- All the documents should be in English.
- Applicant must not benefit from another postdoctoral grant for the duration of the Fellowship.
- Applicant must not hold a permanent position in a research organization or in higher education.
Obligations of fellows:
- To participate in the activities and events of the University’s scientific community.
- To organize at least one lecture/workshop/seminar, if the Fellowship is longer than 6 months.
- For fellowships between 3-6 months: at least one article must be submitted for publication, as main author (article or review), in ISI Web of Science JCR journals in Q1 (first Quartile) or Q2 (second Quartile); alternatively, for arts and humanities, a chapter/article in a volume published by a prestigious international publishing house (list A1 - provided by CNATDCU).
- For fellowships longer than 6 months: at least two articles must be submitted for publication, as main author (article or review), in ISI Web of Science JCR journals in Q1 (first Quartile) or Q2
- (second Quartile), alternatively, for arts and humanities, a volume as the main author published with a prestigious international publishing house (list A1 - provided by CNATDCU).
- To mention the affiliation to the Transilvania University of Braşov in every scientific article, document, and patent resulted from the research done during the Fellowship.
- To submit a detailed report of their activity before the end of the fellowship.
