About The Program

The Sheffield Hallam University has introduced Transform Together Scholarships for international and EU (Non-UK) students who are starting a full-time taught course (either undergraduate or postgraduate) in 2017-18. The students who demonstrate excellent academic achievement will be awarded a 50% discount on the tuition fee. 

 

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible for the scholarship a candidate must -

  • Be an International or the European Union (non-UK) fee paying student
  • Postgraduate only - have achieved a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in honors degree and must meet the English and academic entry requirements for the course.
  • Undergraduate only - have achieved or exceeded the English and academic entry requirements for the course. If awarded an undergraduate scholarship, the candidate must successfully complete each year of study to continue to receive the fee waiver.
  • Have accepted an offer for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at Sheffield Hallam University.
  • Be self-funding the studies
  • Be able to pay any additional fees as the course may require, for example, field trips
How can you apply?

To apply for a Transform Together Scholarship, please follow these steps -
Step 1: Apply for a course at Sheffield Hallam and accept the offer for studying a course there. 
Step 2: Apply for a scholarship online using the link given by the closing date of 1 November 2017 - Transform Together postgraduate scholarship application
Step 3: Fill in all necessary details
Step 4: Send all academic transcripts to transform@portal.shu.ac.uk by 1 November 2017

Terms and Conditions

The candidates are not eligible to apply if they -

  • Are receiving funding for their studies from a sponsor or other scholarship provider
  • Are studying a Sheffield Hallam course at a partner institution, or
  • Have an offer for University's Graduate Diploma Business and English (pre-masters course) or International Foundation Programme in art, design, and media or business, law and social sciences. They can apply for a scholarship for the course that they will progress onto following successful completion of the preparation program.

Q. What happens if the candidate is successful? 

A. The CAS statement of candidates will be updated to reflect their scholarship award. After enrollment, they will be invited to a scholarship ceremony to celebrate their achievement. They will also be expected to represent Sheffield Hallam University as a scholarship ambassador through various activities during the academic year and after graduation.

Q. What happens if the candidate is unsuccessful? 

A. You could be eligible for an automatic discount of at least £1,000. Find out more.
