What is The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India Scholarship 2018?

The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India Scholarship 2018 invites applications from undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD applicants. The objective of the scholarship is to help Indian students to pursue further education at the universities of Oxford or Cambridge by providing them financial assistance.

Who is offering this scholarship ?

The scholarship is provided by the Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI). It is a not-for-profit alumni organisation based in New Delhi, India. 

Who can apply for this scholarship ?

  • Applicant must be an Indian.
  • Applicant should not be more than 30 years of age as on 1 September 2018. 
  • Applicant should be a graduate of an Indian university if applying to a second undergraduate or postgraduate course. 
  • Applicant must hold an offer to study a full-time course at the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford. 
  • Applicant must be willing to pursue one of the following courses:
    PhD degree
    One-year postgraduate courses like MPhil, LLM, Diploma, CASM or Part III Maths, MBA and PGCE
    Research-based Masters programmes of various durations
    Second bachelor's degree
    Bachelor's degree

  • One scholarship worth INR 100,000 tenable only at Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge, from Emmanuel College Cambridge (India) Trust.
  • One scholarship worth INR 100,000 tenable only at St. Hilda's College, Oxford, from Ritika Dhamija.
  • Letter of support from OCSI.
  • Assistance with obtaining a fast-tracked education loan.Complimentary life membership of the Oxford and Cambridge Society of India.
