About The Program

Cargill and Institute of International Education (IIE) invites applications for The Cargill Global Scholars Program 2018 from first/second year UG Student (IIT Delhi, DTU, IIT Mumbai, BIT Mesra, NIT Tiruchirappalli). The aim of the scholarship is to provide financial support and leadership development opportunity to graduate students from around the world.

  • A student must be in first/second-year in one of the following colleges:
    • Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi
    • Delhi Technological University (DTU)
    • Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai
    • The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli
    • Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar
  • A student must have good academic performance.
  • A student must demonstrate a leadership quality.
  • Special preference will be given to a female candidate.

Procedure to apply for the scholarship:

Terms and Conditions

Note: If a candidate is selected as a designated finalist, he/she must be available to participate in the three days 2018 India In-Country Leadership Seminar which will be held in end-August 2018.

WHAT IS THE CARGILL GLOBAL SCHOLARS PROGRAM?
The Cargill Global Scholars Program is a distinctive, two-year leadership development program that provides financial support, in addition to leadership development training and one-on-one mentoring.
The purpose of the Cargill Global Scholars Program is to build a global network of future leaders who will one day make important contributions to advance business, agriculture and food security.
Cargill Global Scholars are students who demonstrate exemplary academic achievements, leadership potential and study in food, agriculture and risk management.
