About The Program
The Alfred Fried Photography Award 2018 invites all the professional and amateur photographers to share their photographs. This award aims to give credits to photojournalists who are highlighting the issues related to world peace by awarding them up to EUR 10,000 in a ceremony to be held in the Austrian Parliament in Vienna.

This award is open to all professional and amateur photographers who are above the age of 14 years.
Benefits
- The Winner of the Award will receive a cash prize of Euro 10,000.
- Top five listed photographs will be awarded the Alfred Fried Peace Medal.
- A special award of the jury of EUR 1,000 will be given to the best single picture entry.
Note: The winning picture will be displayed for one year at the Austrian Parliament and will be included in the permanent art collection of the Parliament.
How can you apply?

- The winners will also take part in worldwide exhibitions.
