About The Program

Talent Support Programme WBMDFC 2016-17 objective is to provide an opportunity to the meritorious students of class 11 and onwards of West Bengal. The West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation functions have generally undertaken the task of an economic welfare of the minorities. This stipend is awarded to the students who have passed their last final examination securing less than  50% marks. 30 % quota of scholarship has been earmarked for girl students.

  • Students who have less than 50% in the last exam are eligible to apply.
  • Open for the students belonging to minority communities Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh, Parsi & Jain of West Bengal.
  • Annual family income of parents/guardian should not exceed 2 lakhs.
How can you apply?

Application can be done online with the following steps:
Step 1:
Register yourself.
Step 2: Fill the personal details, select user ID & password.
Step 3: Click on student login, personal details, bank account details, apply for the scholarship.
Step 4: Click on final submit, take note a permanent ID.
Step 5: Download the application form and submit the form to your institute along with documents (annual income certificate, a page of passbook indicating name, account number, IFSC).

Terms and Conditions

Details:

  • Students pursuing regular courses of study only are eligible for this scholarship. Students of distance learning mode are not eligible for this scholarship.
  • Maximum 2 students may apply from a family.
  • The students obtaining a benefit under this scheme shall not be allowed to avail any other benefits under any other scholarship scheme.
  • Students are advised to open bank account preferably in a nationalised or scheduled bank having IFSC code as the scholarship amount would be disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer(DBT) mode only.
  • Income certificate may be issued by Pradhan/Ward councillor/Gazette officer/MlA/ MP.
