The National Law University Odisha (NLUO) has introduced Surana & Surana International Essay Writing Competition 2017 on 'Securities and Competition Law' for the students who are pursuing their BA.LLB/ BBA-LLB/ LLM/Ph.D./M.phil or any other Undergraduate or Master Courses (other than law) in any university across the world.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - The competition is open to the students who are pursuing their BA.LLB/ BBA-LLB/ LLM/Ph.D./M.phil or any other Undergraduate or Master Courses (other than law) in any university across the world.
How can you apply? Application procedure:
Step 1: Download the application form .
Step 2: Fill in all the required documents.
Step 3: Attach Essay in MS-Word format with the subject 'Essay Competition - Author(s)'.
Step 4: Cover Page should contain a name of participant, nationality, address, email id, contact number and name of college/university with address and class.
Step 5: Finally, mail the application form at ssnluocomp@nluo.ac.in along with all the required documents.
Terms and Conditions
Prize details:
1st Prize: 25,000
2nd Prize:15,000
3rd Prize:10,000
Consolation Prize (12 essays): 1000

GUIDELINES FOR THE SUBMISSION
- The essay must be written in English.
- Only one submission is allowed per author. If a person submits both under single authorship and co-authorship, it will be treated as multiple submissions and the single submission will be rejected and disqualified as an entry to the competition.
- Co-authorship to the maximum of two authors is permitted. In case of co- authors, separate registration form shall be sent for each.
- Only original essays will be considered for the competition. No part of it should have been published earlier anywhere else, nor should it be under consideration for publication or a contest elsewhere.
