St. George's, University of London, offers number of courses at post-graduation level. For students residing in UK/ EU (which includes India) it offers a number of lucrative fee waivers/ fellowships/ scholarships.
St. George -Fellowship/ Scholarship Programs- 2017
DeadlineClosed Eligibility - St. George's Global Health Excellence Scholarships: This scholarship provides 25% fee waiver to one students enrolled in the following courses:
- Applied Exercise for Health MSc
- Biomedical Science MRes and all of its pathways
- Genomic Medicine MSc
- Global Health MSc and all of its pathways
- Healthcare Practice MSc
- Rehabilitation MSc
- Sports Cardiology MSc
- Education is GREAT Scholarships (For Indian Students Only): This scholarship is provided in partnership with British Council to one student enrolled in each of the following courses:
- Biomedical Science BSc Hons and MSc- 40% year 1 fees
- Genomic Medicine MSc- 30% tuition fees
- Biomedical Science MRes and all of its pathways- 30% tuition fees
- Sports Cardiology MSc- 30% tuition fees
- Commonwealth scholarships- This scholarship is given by UK Department for International Development (DFID). The applicants must apply to both commonwealth scholarship and St. George's scholarship committee. Link to commonwealth scholarship
- Chevening Scholarships- Chevenings Scholarships is provided by UK government. This scholarship is awarded to outstanding students with leadership skills. Applicants must apply to both St George’s and Chevening. St. George's gives 20% reduction in tution fees of successful candidates. Students enrolled in the following courses are eligible for this scholarship:
- Applied Exercise for Health MSc
- Biomedical Science MRes and all of its pathways
- Genomic Medicine MSc
- Rehabilitation MSc
- Sports Cardiology MSc
- St. George's International Health Fellowship: This scholarship will be introduced in September 2017 for international students which will cover the entire tution fees. Students enrolled in the following courses will be eligible for this scholarship:
- Applied Exercise for Health MSc
- Biomedical Science MRes and all of its pathways
- Genomic Medicine MSc
- Global Health MSc and all of its pathways
- Healthcare Practice MSc
- Rehabilitation MSc
- Sports Cardiology MSc
Other Important Information
- Only those students will be eligible who will be made an offer to take admissions in these programs by the university
- Students receiving sponser/ employee funding are not eligible for this scheme
- This is applicable to students applying for both full-time and part-time courses
How can you apply? Step 1- Apply for a programme in the University and be offered a course in the academic session 2017-18 in St. George's University
Step 2- Based on the strength of the application form and personal statement, students will be selected for these scholarships. In some cases interviews might also take place

- Applicant's Degree classification
- Applicant's personal statement
- Applicant's work experience
- Applicant's interview
