About The Program

Science Olympiad Foundation has organised the International Company Secretaries Olympiad 2017-18 in partnership with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India for the students of Class 11 and 12. The objective of this Olympiad is to develop competitive spirit among school children and to provide them a platform where they can test their knowledge and skills through competitive tests.

The students of classes 11 and 12 are eligible to apply for this Olympiad.

Process of registration for the school-

  • Schools can request for the prospectus containing registration form either -
    • By sending an email at info@sofworld.org, or
    • By making a phone call on 0124-4951200.
  • School then needs to submit the duly filled-in registration form to SOF, by the due date.
How can you apply?

Students can apply through their schools as individual registration will not be accepted.

Terms and Conditions

Important information-

  • SOF will send question papers and guidelines for conducting the examination to the school after the registration of the school and students.
  • A minimum of five students needs to be registered for the Olympiad from the school for feasibility reasons.
  • The examinations will be held on two dates, i.e., 23rd and 30th January 2018. The schools can select any date as per their convenience. 
  • A nominal fee will be charged from students and details of the fee will be given on the registration form.

Award details-

  • SOF will spend a sum of INR 15.2 Crore towards awards, felicitations, scholarships, etc.
  • The awards will be based on the international, zonal and school ranking of the students.
  • The awards will include cash awards, medals, gifts, certificates, etc.
  • The International toppers from each class will get their award in a grand prize distribution ceremony held in Delhi, presided over by eminent personalities. 
  • Awards of zonal winners and school winners will be sent to their respective schools.

Q. Who all are eligible to sit for the Olympiads?
A. Students of classes 11th & 12th are eligible to appear for the ICSO. There is no other eligibility criterion like minimum marks. Students from Science, Commerce & Humanities may appear for the ICSO.
Q. I am interested to take part in the Olympiads. Tell me how will I come to know about the details of the exam?
A. All the relevant information is sent to the schools registered with us across countries, along with prospectus, registration forms, posters and other details before the exam. The students come to know about the necessary details from their school teachers or through the SOF official website www.sofworld.org or through the SOF facebook page www.facebook.com/sofworld.
