About The Program

Sir Ratan Tata Post-doctoral Fellowship 2018 invites applications from young researchers. The objective of the fellowship is to encourage students to engage in social science research that focuses on contemporary social, political and economic concerns related to India and South Asia.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
  • Applicant should hold a PhD degree. 
  • Applicant should be a young researcher in the field of social sciences with a focus on South Asia.
  • Applicant should be employed with an established institution in the SAARC region. 
Benefits

Sir Ratan Tata Post-doctoral Fellowship 2018 provides a monthly subsistence allowance of GBP 1,500, shared work space, access to research facilities, travel and related expenses.

  • Outline of proposed research (including detailed methodology and timeline)
  • Names and addresses of two referees, familiar with their work, to be contacted by the Committee
