Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), a Statutory body under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India launched SERB Extra Mural Research Funding (Individual Centric) for the academic year 2016-17.
SERB is inviting scientists for research in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences & Mathematical Sciences.
There is no maximum amount of grant for this venture. The monetary allowance is chosen in view of the prerequisite for its fruitful usage. The Investigator ought to propose a spending which is reasonable considering the foundation and assets accessible at the executing establishments. The normal cost of the EMR venture is Rs 35 lakh for a term of 3 years.

- Should have completed PhD in Science related subjects.
- Indians residing in India can apply only.

Step 1: Applicants have to register online.
Step 2: Applicants have to provide their details such as Email id and must generate a password, your name, mobile number, nationality and one identity proof (Passport/Pan/Aadhar number).
Step 3: The link will be sent to your email id. Verify that link.
Step 4: Login to serbonline.in
Step 5: Use your user name and password which you already used at the time of registration.
Step 6: Click on Sign in.
Step 7: Fill the details there and upload your bio data, project details synopsis, etc.
Step 8: Then click on submit.
