SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2023-24 is an initiative of the State Bank of India (SBI) Foundation in partnership with various reputed NGOs for bachelor’s degree holders under the age group of 21-32 years. The fellowship is offered to India's brightest young minds as an opportunity to go live and work amongst rural communities to help solve pressing rural development challenges. It attracts young leaders who experience a transformative leadership journey during the fellowship. The fellows selected for the fellowship will receive INR 50,000 and other benefits.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- be Indian or overseas citizen of India
- be between the age group of 21 and 32 years as of the date of commencement of the programme
- have completed at least a bachelor's degree before the commencement of the program
Note to OCI Candidates - In case the applicant doesn’t possess an OCI card currently, please visit the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for OCI registration. As the process takes at least 1-3 months, it is recommended that the applicant must apply for it as soon as initiate the Fellowship application.
Benefits The selected candidates will receive INR 60,000 and a certificate of completion from the SBI Foundation.
How can you apply? Eligible candidates can apply for the fellowship using the steps listed below -
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note - If already registered, log in using the registered email Id.)
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Start Application' section, fill in the required details and click on it to complete 'Preliminary Application'.
Step 4: After completing the 'Preliminary Application', a link will be sent on the registered email to being with the 'Online Assessment Stage'.
Step 5: Fill in the application form with all the required details, answer the essay questions and upload the relevant documents.
Step 6: Submit the application.

Note - The above deadline is tentative and can be changed as per the discretion of the provider.
Selection Criteria
The candidates will be selected based on the online assessment, personality assessment & interview.
Terms and Conditions
- SBI Youth for India does not offer any job post the completion of the 13-month programme.
- It is a full-time programme. So, the fellows need to stay in the project location for the entire duration. There is no scope for part-time participation.
- The fellowship continuously engages with the shortlisted applicants over an online forum to know them better and clarify their doubts.
- While answering the essay questions in the application form, there is a timestamp of 60 minutes for feeding responses to all three questions.
- The online assessment should be completed and submitted within 10 days of receiving the invitation for it.

The work will be assigned to you by SBI and partner NGOs. You need to be people-oriented as the fellowship will involve interaction with rural communities on a constant basis. You should also be a team player with a proactive approach and strong leadership skills.
