SAF South Asia Water Management Scholarship 2017 invites applications for one year (full-time) degree program to be undertaken at the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka from May 2017 to May 2018. One student from each SAARC countries will be selected for the scholarship. This programme is for the students of M.Sc, postgraduate diploma in water resources engineering and management providing education that nurtures the inquiring mind and develops skills for a diversity of challenges and selected students will get tuition fees, economy air travel, monthly stipend and accommodation, in-country travel, medical insurance and research expenses as per university rates.

Terms and Conditions
Documents to be attached with the application form.
- Photocopies of certificates of academic qualifications (degree certificate and transcripts).
- Photocopies of certificates of membership/associate membership/graduateship of professional institutions.
- Letter of consent from the employer regarding leave/permission to follow the course (Page 4 of the application).
- Letter of sponsorship (if applicable).
- Copies of certificates of English language proficiency (compulsory for all international applicants).
- Photographs (4 copies) and copies of Birth certificate & amp, national identity card/valid passport.
All copies submitted should be certified as true copies of the original documents either by a University Registrar, Legal Practitioner, or Justice of Peace/Notary Public. For applicants from SAARC countries, an official from South Asia Foundation (SAF) Chapter in their respective country should be the certifying authority.
