Royal Society Newton International Fellowship 2018 is a fellowship given to candidates having Ph.D. degree and have an experience, not more than 7 years. The scheme covers the broad range of the natural and social sciences and the humanities. It also covers clinical and patient orientated research for candidates from Newton Fund partner countries.

How many Newton International Fellowships are available?
Approximately 40 Newton International Fellowships will be available in this round, with additional Fellowships awarded to individuals from Newton Fund countries. Additional fellowships are also made available by private foundations.
How much is a Newton International Fellowship worth?
Fellows will receive up to £2,000 for relocation expenses, £24,000 per annum for subsistence (tax-exempt) and up to £8,000 per annum for research expenses, for the duration of the award. In addition, UK host universities will receive 50% of the annual value of the Fellowship as a contribution towards their overhead costs.
Fellows may be eligible for follow-up funding of up to £6,000 per annum for up to 5 years following the completion of the Fellowship.
