Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India invites applications for Ramalingaswami Re-Entry Fellowship 2017 for Indian origin who are working in overseas research institutions.
Fellowship will be of 5 years and it can be extended for next term. Students have to apply by post and by email (both) latest by 31st January 2017. In the fellowship programme, awardees will get the Scientist-D level post and they have to take the teaching and research activity including supervising the Doctoral and MS students.
All the awardees will be getting a monthly stipend of Rs. 85,000 pm, accommodation Rs.75,000 pm, contingency grant of Rs. 10,000 for 1st year, Rs. 7.5 lakh for 2nd year and Rs. 5 lakh for 3 years.
The applications can be done by post and by email (both) with the following steps:
Step 1: Go to the website.
Step 2: From there you have to download the details and the application form.
Step 3: Download and save that page.
Step 4: Take a print out of that.
Step 5: Fill the form given in the last four pages.
Step 6: Your application must be forwarded by any host institute.
Step 7: You have to attach your recent passport size photograph, age proof certificate and significant research contribution (maximum 5 pages) made in the area of research.
