Post Doctoral Research Fellowship, IIM Calcutta 2018 invites applications from researchers with PhD degree. The fellowship encourages the applicants to contribute to the theory and practice of management.
Post Doctoral Research Fellowship, IIM Calcutta 2018
DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Applicants holding Ph.D. Degree can apply within five years of completion of their PhD. The thesis should be in the relevant disciplines.
- Applicants must have a consistently good academic record and demonstrated research potential.
- The age limit is a maximum of 35 years (this limit may be relaxed by 5 years for women and reserved category applicants).
Benefits - Each fellowship will carry a stipend of INR 40,000 per month consolidated, depending on the level of prior experience of the chosen candidate.
- In addition, a contingency grant of INR 50,000 per annum will also be provided.
- The duration of the fellowship will be for a period of 2 years, with the continuation of fellowship in the 2nd year subject to satisfactory performance in the first year.
Documents Documents to be required:
- A two-page write‐up on the intended Research work at IIMC.
- At least two letters of recommendation/reference from peers regarding the research capabilities and other attributes.
- No objection certificate/relief certificate from the present employer (if currently employed).
- Photocopies of the Degree certificates.
- Photocopies of two best journal papers.
- Specify Sub Caste and attach at least copy of a certificate issued by the appropriate authority.

Selection Criteria
The shortlisted applicants will be interviewed and the final selection made by a Committee. In selecting the applicants, the Committee will strive to match the research proposals from the applicants with the research interests of internal faculty.
