About The Program

The University of Copenhagen has announced PhD Scholarship in the LIFETRACK Project 2018 for postgraduates in sociology or equivalent, with a focus on inequalities in education and the life course. The PhD scholarship is part of the research project 'Life-Course Dynamics of Educational Tracking' (LIFETRACK), which is a joint project with other European countries.

To be eligible, a candidate must:

  • Be a master’s degree holder (or equivalent) in sociology or related social sciences; 
  • Have experience of working with administrative registers (such as the Danish Administrative Registers); 
  • Have proven skills in econometric methods, especially those designed to test causal hypotheses.

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Transcript of Master’s degree, Diploma and grades 
  • Applicants who have not yet completed their Master’s degree, but have submitted their thesis, must include documentation that the thesis is approved.
