About The Program

OFID Scholarship 2017-18 invites applications from final years graduation or graduate students who wish to study Master degree program. Applicants must have taken admission in any recognized university/college in the world. OFID aims to help highly motivated, highly driven individuals to overcome the biggest challenge i.e the cost of graduate studies.

  • The applicants must be between age group 23-32 years at the time of application.
  • Must be a graduate or in final year of graduation.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 rating system, or its equivalent. 
  • Must select a subject of study: economics of development, environment, or other related science and technology fields.

Step 2: Now start applying the form by clicking here.

Step 3: Write down your email id, and choose a password.

Step 4: Click on Sign up.

Terms and Conditions

Follow these steps while filling the form:

STEP 1: Ensure that you fulfill the Eligibility Criteria.

STEP 2: Register using your email address.

STEP 3: Fill out the application form.

STEP 4: Upload necessary documents: CV, two recommendation letters, Bachelor's certificate/transcript, acceptance letter into postgraduate program, passport copy and essay.

FAQ's

Q. Is an English proficiency score required to apply? What is the minimum requirement?
A.
There is no minimum requirement of English proficiency to apply for the Scholarship Award. However, applicants must fill out their applications and write their application essays in English.
 
Q. After submitting my scholarship application, I received an acceptance letter from another (my preferred) university. Can I change my application?
A.
Once you have submitted your application, it cannot be changed.  While you are welcome to email your new acceptance letter to the Scholarship Board at scholarship@ofid.org, we cannot guarantee that your new acceptance letter will be considered amongst your application materials.
 
Q. I already submitted my application. However, my university has just sent me my updated transcript. Even though the submission deadline has passed, may I still submit my new transcript?
A.
Once the deadline has passed, the scholarship portal is closed and we will no longer accept any additional documentation.  
 
Q. I do not have a passport /my passport has expired; what other forms of identification are accepted?
A.
Those without a valid passport should provide any official document with your date of birth and nationality. This includes a certified birth certificate, student ID from your present university or national ID card.
