NCRA-TIFR invites applications for the Jawaharlal Nehru Post-Doctoral Fellowships 2017. Young Scientist having at least one year of postdoctoral experience and good academic background can apply. The fellows will carry research for the two years and can be extended up to one more year after reviewing, in the areas solar physics, pulsars, active galactic nuclei, the interstellar medium, supernova remnants, the Galactic Centre, nearby galaxies, high-redshift galaxies, fundamental constant evolution, observational and theoretical cosmology, the epoch of reionization and the Ooty Radio Telescope (ORT). We encourage applicants with backgrounds in radio astronomy, as well as other fields including theory, algorithm research, and observations in other wavebands.
