About The Program

National Science Concours (NSC) 2017-18 is one of its kind online science competition conducted online for students of Class 6 to 12. The key objective of this online test is to encourage students to be creative and prepare masterpieces in a congenial environment.

To be eligible for the test, a candidate must -

  • Be studying in Class 6 to 12 under following three categories -
    • Class 6 and 7 - Pegasus
    • Class 8 and 9 - Phoenix
    • Class 10, 11 and 12 - Unicorn

 

How can you apply?

Eligible students can apply for Level 1 online test through following steps -

Step 1: Visit the official website
Step 2: Click on "Register"
Step 3: Sign up with name, email and mobile number and submit. 
Step 4: The password will be sent to the registered mobile number. 
Step 5: Login with email/mobile number and password to complete registration details. 
Step 6: Complete registration details. 
Step 7: Pay the application fee of INR 150 online or through cheque/draft or directly in the bank account. 
Step 8: Finally submit the form.  

Terms and Conditions

Test Details

National Science Concours is a two-stage competition that comprises -

Level 1: Online test

Prior to attending the actual online test on designated dates, the candidates can take up mock practice test of 20 questions. 

Level 2: Project Submission

Depending on the results of Level 1 online test, the qualified students will require participating in Level 2 by paying a fee of INR 250. This level requires the students to research a topic and prepare a project. The project should be submitted in digital format i.e. powerpoint/Doc/Video etc. 

Final Selection 

  • On the basis of scores at Level 1 and Level 2, the top 180 students will be selected as winners and will participate in Summer Science Camp completely free of cost. 
  • The camps will be organized in two parts of the country - South India and North India. 

Prizes

The selected students will receive multiple awards at each level of the competition including certificates of participation and cash rewards.
