National School of Drama Scholarship New Delhi 2017 invites application for the graduate's students whose age is between 18 to 30 years of its 3-year diploma course in dramatic arts. The objective of this scholarship is to train students to become professionals in the area of acting, design and other theatre-related disciplines and selected students will get a financial assistance of Rs 8000 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility - Graduation in any subject from a recognized university in India or Abroad.
- Participation in at least 6 theatre productions.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
- Students should have 3 recommendations from theatre experts and documentary proof of the theatre experience.
- Age limit is 18 to 30 years as on 1.7.2017.
How can you apply? The application can be done online or by post with the following steps:

Step 2: Now register yourself.
Step 3: Fill the details.
Step 4: A confirmation link will send to your email id and apply online.
Step 5: Pay the application fee Rs 50.
Step 6: Submit.By post:

Step 2: Fill the application form.
Step 3: Attach a demand draft Of Rs 150 (in favour of 'The Director, National School of Drama, New Delhi).

Selection Process:
The selection will be done in 2 phases. The student should appear for a preliminary exam and if selected then have to appear for a final exam. There are the centers for preliminary test/audition and the final exam. A preliminary test/audition will be conducted at 10 centers:
- Guwahati: 1st May 2017
- Kolkata: 3rd & 4th May 2017
- Bhubaneswar: 6th May 2017
- Chennai: 8th May 2017
- Bengaluru: 10th May 2017
- Bhopal: 12th May 2017
- Mumbai: 14th,15th &16th May 2017
- Lucknow: 18th May 2017
- Chandigarh: 20th May 2017
- Delhi: 21st to 24th May 2017
Selected students will be required to undergo a medical test for physical fitness at NSD Delhi.
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Disabled Persons:
Out of 26 seats, 4 seats are reserved for SC, 2 are reserved for ST, 7 seats are reserved for OBC and reservation for physically disabled persons, as per government of India rules.
